Known Issues
READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING ANY POSSIBLE ERRORS OR BUGS YOU HAVE FOUND, THANKS
1. Cannot undock internally from EA shipyard. This is caused by LOD of the mesh for it. Don't dock internally with them, we will fix it in the first patch.
2. Corporation 'Escort mission' + corporation missions generally.
3. Flight instructor timing out and leaving if you do not stay in the sector, when you come back to try he's gone. I tested this by leaving the sector and returning some time later. He was hard to find but was still there (in idle mode on other side of sector).
4. lang.dat issue with german version of TC game. (see Syr3Ls post below for temp solution)
How fast we patch will depend on the number and severity of any errors...

For all which get the READ_TEXT000000 bug
open the lang.dat with the editor (as example notepad) and replace the number to 44
this should switch your game to the english version
we are on it to make the german language file ready
other languages are prepared but we need people for translation

Report so far:
East jump vortex in the first hyper space system does not line up with entrance
In the title screen the close up shot of the front of b5, the rotation section is bouncing around.
Going through the west gate in Jerico(?) results in a black screen, and more black screen, and more black screen...

I looked at the East Gate in the HS sector north of your starting point(Arisia) and it does seem to line up with the beacons towards the origin of the sector. Do you mean that the HS 'gates' should line up with any approaching ship that opens it? If so I had considered scripting it, but then it might look a little odd if any other ship entered it from a different angle while still open.
Yep B5 does bounce around in the opening titles..definately one to fix that.
I moved N from Jericho to HS 1512 without incident...so not sure what the problem was there.
Thanks for the error reports thus far, we'll try to get onto them and a possible patch in due course.

I completed the first main story mission in the Armstrong shuttle and changed into the Mistral. After they said new missions would be open I accepted a mission from the inside station in Arisia. The mission was to escort a convoy from Jericho to Arisia, when I got to Jericho the convoy to be escorted just sat in space not moving. Moving closer didn't help and talking to them didn't help. I tried to reload the save and it also didn't help.

It's a fantastic Mod... Great Work !
but what has struck me, that is the voice of the computer so quietly is to verhältnis from the weapons. There I must regulate lastingly the sound because I, otherwise, from shoot becomes deaf... Graphically top Mod must try even further. My English is really bad... Its a language translater ( sorry )

Jerico worked after a couple tries
I've noticed that all of the vortexes in hyperspace require a specific approach. If I come in too steep of an angle and aim for the black center I will miss the trigger point and just fly through the vortex geometry.
Also, sector HS1711 has the "Zafran" description

Some of these are known I'm sure. Some might not be bugs but I am just reporting what I find.
In hyperspace the vortexes can be seen across the sector resulting in loss of mystery of exploration. FIXED
When I was at the Earth sector the Sun was shown through the gate vortex
In HS1713 there is a nav sat which looks like it should go to an east vortex, but I was unable to find it.FIXED
The west and south gates in Nochtal are so far apart that the only way I found the other one was by autopilot.
After leaving home system to explore the universe, a couple save and reloads, I returned home to find the flight pilot missing.HE IS STILL THERE ON IDLE

Hi.
Just did a quick test of your wonderful mod.
First ship i try'd was the Hyperion light cruiser(love that little ship )
So i wanted to test out is weapon capabilities on an EA station, all was going well until the station rammed me >,<
Anyway just thought i'd let you know station's can move & ram..lol

Hi !
In the Sector Beta Durani I had a ship called Dilgar ( and something strange like BLANK, or like that)
The problem was, it didnt look like a dilgar ship o.O
It had the model of the original x3TC ship Paranid Perseus. Would be nice to know if I'm the only one with this ship

Found another draw distance issue. When I jumped into Epsilon Eridandi I was all pumped up and saw... nothing. Hunting for Babylon 5 was quite anticlimactic. I couldn't find draw distance control on my end, and I'm not sure if you guys got a knob for it, but if it isn't a setting that can be fixed you may wish to consider pulling the jumpgate(s) closer to the station.

I don`t know how to launch the B5 Demo. I have installed it in my x3-TC folder, but nothing happens as I started the game after installation. How can I play the Demo?

If you ran the installer correctly.... and renamed the file.... then just start the game normally.... it's a Total Conversion so it is essentially a new game entirely

There may well be X3 ships left over in the game; we thought we'd ironed them all out but they have an irritating notion of turning up when you least expect it. Keep posting the comments about when they arrive as we'll kill them when we can... any BLANK ships are ships that have been removed and are a blank spot for us to add new ones.... alpha demo

Hmm...
I had the game installed in d:\games\x3 tc
That was the folder, I entered for the installation of the mod. But I saw, it was installed to the following folder automatically:
d:\games\x3 tc\EGOSOFT\x3 terran conflict
Why that???

No idea why it did that. As long as you point it in the right direction it should work fine!
Just copy all of the contents of that directory though into your normal one - renaming those two files as suggested - and it should be fine.... It'll ask you to overwrite stuff but that's ok.

I tried that - only had babylon-5-like speech in the x3 tc starting menu, nothing more.
I am reinstalling x3 tc now and trying again...

Great mod, good work
Have serious problems with the escort missions tho. Aprox 1 out of 10 tries results in a working mission. The first escort mission works fine tho, only when you can pick more missions and pick another escort mission ( the one with the hyperspace battle ) that tends to not work alot. Most of the times either the raiders jump in alrdy from hyperspace when you are in jerico. The other times the convoy stays still when you need to "pick" them up. One try it did work where the convoy jumped into hyperspace when i approaced the system and the following hyperspace battle. When we jumped out in the destination system 1 ship did go for the station the second one just stood there so was unable to complete it.
FIXED - FIRST RUN NOW WORKS/IMPROVED, NEEDS FURTHER TESTING

One other thing, and this maybe a very dumb question but when you can first pick a mission there is also a mission wich requires you to pick up a Minbarie TS. What is that and where can you find it?
Also i asked to every npc in the game where i can find a shipyard etc but no1 knows. I did try a jumpgate to find other systems but im confused how i can navigate in hyperspace to them. So its kinda not a bug report but more of a help me im a noob report :p

Hmm, you cannot - Minbari are not in yet. The only corporation mission that I thought i had fixed and tested was the escort one...the others are a little up in the air as to what they will produce..maybe I should have switched that one off for the demo..until the Minbari sectors were in(and other races). In HS if you fly towards the middle of the 'sector' you shoulsd pick up on the beacons..follow them to gates.
It is a Demo so the missions are few and have much to be done on them. Mostly the demo is for flying about shooting at stuff and doing a bit of trade..that will change over time.
